At Bocking Care we support people with learning disabilities lead a full and meaningful life as independently as possible. Their goals and aspirations drive the care and support provided on an individual basis and we regularly fine-tune and modify that support based on their needs and wants.
We support residents with a wide range of different support and care needs and ensure that our service is as inclusive and flexible as possible in order to meet those needs.
At Bocking Care the residents' needs are the driving force and our individualised support provision reflects that.

At Bocking Care are happy to extremely proud of the service that we provide and that is why the site is open to our friends and neighbours. We are also happy to be inspected and regulated by all relevant authorities and governing bodies.
Bocking Care (the working name of United Charities) is a charitable organisation and as such we are registered with The Charity Commission for England and Wales. This provides us with charity status, and means that we have an appointed Board of Trustees that control and guide the workings of the Charity. We are required to follow charity law as well as regulatory restrictions and requirements.
Our charity registration number is 1212413 and more information may be obtained from the Charity Commission website here.
Bocking Care are committed to delivering high-quality care in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner to the residents we support. We maintain to this commitment through our relationship with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)—the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
Our service is registered with the CQC and is regulated to provide personal care for adults with learning disabilities as outlined in our Statement of Purpose. Adhering to CQC standards is not just about compliance—it’s about culture. It reflects our values of safety, integrity, and continuous learning, and ensures that everyone—residents, families, staff, and commissioning partners—can trust in the care we provide.
The CQC helps hold us to account, but also supports continuous improvement across the whole sector. The guidance and oversight provided are key to helping services evolve and respond to changing needs, implement best practice, and continue to provide evidence-based care.
Details of our registration with the CQC can be found here. As Bocking Care has been set up as a new organisation we are still awaiting our first inspection as Bocking Care.
We are also registered with the Housing Ombudsman Service that is an independent, impartial, and free service for social housing residents. It looks to improve landlords’ services and residents’ lives through the management of housing complaints.
